This document outlines SATOA's guidelines to choosing a Charity to contribute to for the duration of the SATOA financial year, 1 June to 31 May.
- The charity member must be a small personal charity involved in the community, conservation or both.
- The charity member will be nominated by members, up to one month prior to the AGM. The nomination will need to include information on the nominated charity, and briefly motivated for as to why the member feels it is a worthwhile charity.
- The list of nominations will be sent to the members to vote. The charity member will then be voted for, at the AGM from the nominated shortlist.
- The charity member will be confirmed and announced at the AGM.
- SATOA will hold a specific sponsorship raffle at each event for the appointed charity. All monies raised with each raffle will be donated to the charity.
